Shark Goes After My Prize Kill, Not On My Watch
With a limited open season to hunt red snapper, I was eager to shoot one to bring home. After shooting the fish I decided to remove some pesky Lionfish to make use of my remaining scuba dive time. While bagging one of the Lions I catch a shark going in and attacking my prized Red Snapper and I decided I earned that fish and was not going to give it away that easy. The shark engulfed the snapper which was attached to my stringer which was attached to my spear gun. The beast almost ran off with all my spear fishing gear. I decided it was worth fighting for.

While spearfishing on a wreck site in the northern Gulf of Mexico Grayson Shepard goes for a ride behind a large Goliath Grouper. Shepard had several encounters (during this one dive) with Goliath grouper that wanted his fresh kills. This video show three of those encounters. In one instance the giant grouper grabs Shepard's fish and spear and drags him across the reef. Here is Grayson's descri...

My buddies Alex Fogg, Joe Kistel and I had been filming and collecting lionfish at various sites in the Gulf southwest of St. George Island FL. We had been taking turns with Alex and Joe diving together while I dove solo. This was my third and final dive of the day on a man-made structure in 93' feet of water approximately 22 miles due south of St. Vincent Island. The shark enters the camera's ...

School of Cobia

I was doing a surface interval while my buddy was taking his turn diving. This school of cobia came by the boat, so I grabbed my mask and camera and jumped in. I estimated the big one to be around 48" long and 25lbs. Could have got them with the speargun, but I decided to let them go and grow.
First thing GC, good on ya for killing so many lionfish… it was infested. Second, that’s a rare sight in the GoM. Still cant believe it!
The shark is kind. He let the guy fishing on his territory without attacking him
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I never seen someone so pissed off at a fish before.
Humans are actually incredibly loud underwater, and nothing like what fish hear regularly. Bro, imagine stealing a back a chicken from some _massive creature_ appearing into our dimension and then it starts screaming at you at a volume you've only heard with sonic booms trying to get it back.
Bro oops is aqua man
This was like watching a tom n Jerry cartoon 🤣😂🤣😂
The scariest part is when he gives the arm to the guy and have to get on the boat 😰😰😰😰😰
Yoooooo😂😂😂😂 white ppl are fucking FEARLESS!!! Arguing with with a fish that’s are big as a car 😂😂😂
When I see what these people are doing that ends up in them being attacked I cant help but think that they were asking for it.
Bro this video owns lmaoooo
Sensacional 👍🏽👍👏🏽👏🏽🧐
I want a gopro. Was that mounted to your mask? How come the bubbles didn't get in the way of the camera?
Thats was an annoying underwater pets
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Shark @5:00
I remember getting baked and watching this as a teenager and feeling like I was seeing some ancient battle between Conan the barbarian and some pissed off sea monster.
Bro was beefing with a goddamn fish
I was hyperventilating when he started pointing at the things in anger💀
the way he point at the fish looks like lethal company emote 😂
I can understand the unintelligible
This is why I send up catches with flotation rather than bringing them up myself. Im not going to carry a bag of chum on me.
He was just getting rid of an invasive species. I have no idea what the guy was doing tho.
Omg another turtle
keep your head underwater
0:44 I cant help but hear DOOM music as he rages and gives chase to the grouper.
What a pussy, executing fish for fun, and when a big one comes he swims away like a little btch
almost as pussy as talking shit online when you know you're safe behind a computer
Bro, lionfish are an invasive, pest-like species that are extremely damaging to the environments they end up on. Sure, it isn't the fish's fault but at the same time the reality is that if they are allowed to proliferate they will devastate the flora and fauna of that area. They have to be removed. Even environmental groups recognize this need.
Actually the shark swam away. The guy stood waiting.
I would have dropped the speared fish. Sharks get aggressive around bait... I have seen small sharks go into a frenzy the moment you spear a fish and chase divers and take the fish as they are trying to ascend to the boat.
Kind of surprised how little he looks around. Shouldnt you be more aware of your surroundings?
¿ remember to take your wooden handled broom & toilet plunger when you scuba ?
Ah yes let me shoot this fish literally like 2 feet away from the grouper and get mad when it does what fish do
Shark just protecting his ocean from this fish murderer who is stabbing fish like some psycho

Is it illegal to spearfish gropers or just the big once
Great White was like: "Relax bro. If I wanted you dead, you'd already be dead."
stealth is a vital part of metal gear
I'm more terrified of all those invasive lion fish destroying the eco-system in the gulf of mexico.
This is like a scene from a cartoon lmao
Spearfishing with additional oxygen is the most unsportsmanlike thing I've seen in a while, wtf
He isn't doing this sport, as you can see in the description. lionfish are an invasive, pest-like species that are extremely damaging to the environments they end up on. Best part is he doesn’t shoot the shark 🩵
Next time drop your catch
If you can see him,it's probably fine, It's when you don't see him that you worry because he might be taking a run at you from underneath,THEN ur Fk'd
Do you actually eat that much fish?
It is not about eating the fish. Lionfish are an invasive, pest-like species that are extremely damaging to the environments they end up on. Get out intruding in their territory! Not for humans!
Thats a lot of lion fish
A big Hell no from me..
Yeah, so you cant go fishing underwater and not expect a visit from a shark. You are in competition for their food. Let me just go deep sea diving in open waters, have a bag of free food and not expect sharks to come lurking smfh.
What does he call the fish around the 56 second mark? 😮
I gotta say he kept his breathing pretty controlled.. I would be sucking the air down like crazy. Thanks for helping with the lion fish problem.
You just seeing one got you scared. What about two or three. It takes a lot to spare fish.
i love the yelling
@grayshep this video just goes to show sharks aren’t monsters there just very curious. Great vid :)
